A new international airport has been named after James Bond thriller writer Ian Fleming in a place he had a special relationship with. Where is it?
It's Jamaica. Ian Fleming International Airport, which will be used by private jets and small commercial aircraft, is close to the scenic retreat Goldeneye, where the late author wrote his books. James Bond visits Rio de Janeiro in Moonraker, Khao Phing Kan is an island in Thailand that features in The Man with the Golden Gun and is popularly called James Bond Island, while Fleming emphasised Bond's Scottish heritage in his books.
